Te jenjanb - Ginger tea
4 cups of water
½ pound of ginger
3 star anise
sugar to taste
Clean and remove the skin off ginger, and chop into small pieces. In a small pot, boil water, ginger and anise star for 15 minutes.
Pour in a cup and serve with sugar.
Same process can be used to "te kanèl" (cinnamon tea) instead of using ginger use 5 sticks of cinnamon.
