Architect by profession, he travels to Mexico where he is very much impressed by this discipline in general and by the work of Diego Riviera in particular. On his return home he starts painting and develops an interesting stylistic mingling of cubism and impressionism before undertaking to paint in his so personal extraordinary realistic style. By 1981, he opens his own gallery.
