On February 7, 2006, the Haitian people are going to
vote and they deserve to vote in a peaceful
environment.

I urge everyone to go to vote quietly and peacefully.
The line is going to be long, stay in line and keep
your calm.

After voting, please go back to your house and wait
for the result.

I urge the CEP to count the votes by hands: 1, 2, 3,
4, … and do not use computers to count 3 millions
votes.

Whoever who has the majority of the votes shall win or
move to the next round. Please, put all feelings and
emotions aside and let the people decide who they want
to lead the country.

In a country created out of feelings and emotions, to put aside the very catalyst and engine that propels it seems impossible.
