Where is the Act of Independence of Haiti [the original paper on which it was written, not "la peau d'un blanc"] ?
Where are the crowns of Dessalines, Christophe, Soulouque, and their queens/empresses ?
Where are the swords, the uniforms, the authentic portraits, the memorabilia?
Where are the tangible items of our past?
About: parchments and stuff
Guy,
I am not sure, but I believe that some of these items can be found at the MUPANAH (Musée du Patrimoine national haitien ), opposite to the National palace. I think I had heard that Soulouque's crown had been put there as well as many other precious items. I will try to find out. It would be interesting to track all these things.
