Are there Haitians today who can claim, certifiably, to be bloodline descendants of Toussaint Louverture, Jean-Jacques Dessalines, Henri Christophe, Alexandre Petion, Cécile Fatiman, Marie-Jeanne Lamartinière, and other icons of the birthing of Haiti as a Modern Nation?

Do official records attesting to those genealogy lines, exist -- or has any attempt ever been made at their preservation?

Are you a great-great-grandson of Capois-La-Mort? the great-great-great-great-great-great-granddaughter of Indian queen Anacaona? Come with your credentials. We'll do the DNA analysis. :) [But seriously, where are you?]
